Employment assistance

Services Australia assists eligible job seekers with finding employment.

The following site provides assistance with finding jobs in the WA public sector:

Enterprise and business support

The Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) provides free advice for small businesses in WA.

SBDC provides a broad range of business resources, business skills workshops, business licencing information, and dispute resolution services.

Information and contact details are available from the SBDC website.

Another organisation that provides enterprise and business support is the Immigrant Business Networking Association.

Overseas qualifications

Eligible qualifications gained overseas can be assessed by the Overseas Qualifications Unit to determine comparability with Australian standards. This is a free service for WA residents only.

To find out whether your qualifications and skills are recognised in Australia access the Qualifications and Skills Recognition website.

Volunteering

Volunteering builds strong communities and provides a range of resources, services and support to our community and its members.

If you are interested in providing a service to your community by volunteering visit Volunteering WA.
