Roots TV is facilitating a new poetry workshop series for teenagers. These poetry workshops are opportunities for writers in high school to create and explore poetry. Young poets are given a chance to delve into the art and craft of poetry in a fun, creative, and inspiring environment. Workshops for teens reinforce a sense of joyful experimentation with language and its creative possibilities, help to develop each student’s voice and—as an added benefit—strengthen basic linguistic and scholastic skills.
When: 3.30pm - 6pm, every Thursday from 13 April for five weeks
Where: Hillview Intercultural Community Centre, 1-3 Hill View Place, Bentley
