The Shire of Irwin will host a morning tea that brings together the local Sikh community, the Sea Totem Wattandee Aboriginal community, and Greek community to promote intercultural understanding and harmony. Attendees and participants will meet at the river mouth near Sea Spray for a special Welcome to Country. This will be followed by Hatha Yoga on the beach and walking meditation where participants will share stories of cultural significance about connection to land. The event will close with a community breakfast hosted by the Greek community.
