The South Lake Ottey Family and Neighbourhood Centre will host a celebration event on 15 March for its regular groups and the local community. The event will have African drumming workshops using traditional hand drums and other percussion instruments, a display for traditional costumes and tea making workshops by the Turkish community. Additionally, Aboriginal Healthy Lifestyle Program participants will share their art, culture and food. Attendees will also be encouraged to wear their cultural dress for the occasion.
