Raising Bilingual Children, is on Monday, February 13th, at 7:00 PM. This workshop is designed to help families learn how to create a home environment that supports multiple languages. Participants will walk away with practical strategies and tips for raising bilingual children.
This workshop will include the different definitions and forms of bilingualism and multilingualism, and how they can be acquired. You will learn about the reasons why parents choose to raise their children to be proficient in more than one language, and the cognitive and social benefits of multilingualism.
You'll have the opportunity to share your own language background and experiences, and to brainstorm with other participants.
This workshop is suitable for parents and caregivers of children of all ages, and does not require you to speak multiple languages.
Each workshop is priced at just $10 per ticket, and all profits will go towards supporting the mission of Multilingual Australia/Bilingual Families Perth.
