Be part of Harmony Week 2017

24 February 2017

Western Australian’s will be busy in March celebrating our vibrant multicultural community as part of Harmony Week, with events happening across the State.

Harmony Week runs from 15–21 March every year and everyone is encouraged to experience, explore and appreciate WA's wealth of cultural, religious, linguistic and ethnic diversity.

Over the week, celebrations will take place throughout the metropolitan and regional areas, in acknowledgement of our diverse society, whilst working to raise awareness of and to remove barriers that still exist in the community.

Everyone can join in—communities, businesses, government, schools and individuals can celebrate the week.

The Office of Multicultural Interests (OMI) has developed an online Harmony Week kit to inform and inspire you, to get involved and make Harmony Week the best yet.

Harmony Week activities taking place in Perth and all over WA will also be featured on OMI’s community events calendar. To take part, visit the OMI website and look out for events in your local area.

You can see what is happening during Harmony Week by searching #WAHarmony and #HarmonyWeek.
